ORBITRUE 40
ORBITRUE 40 is the mid-size flange facing machine on the Switch System platform. It clamps inside the flange with its fixing arms; the arm carries the tool in orbit around the axis and re-machines the sealing face directly on the plant.
It is available with electric drive (gearmotor with planetary reduction), pneumatic, hydraulic or CNC. For power and speed data, ask our engineering team for the data sheet.

What sets it apart
Flanges from 18" to 40"
Facing range from Ø 457 to 1016 mm, with internal mounting (ID mount).
Clamping with fixing arms
The machine centres and locks inside the flange with its fixing arms: no external reference to build.
Automatic radial feed
The tool feeds at every revolution of the arm, on the rotary module with precision slewing bearing; manual override remains available for approach and touch-up passes.
±45° tool head
The head swivels to face, chamfer and bevel in the same set-up.

Electric, pneumatic, hydraulic or CNC: same mechanics, your choice of energy.
