What is portable line boring and when do you need it?

Portable line boring lets you restore bores and bearing seats directly on site, without dismantling the structure or shipping it to a workshop. It is the ideal solution for earth-moving machinery, hydropower plants, marine structures and heavy fabrication, where disassembly would be long and costly. Maucotools LBM line boring machines work on diameters from a few centimetres up to over 600 mm.

The choice mainly depends on the bore diameter to be machined, the shaft length and the space available for mounting. You can use our online configurator, which guides you in a few steps to the correct model and kit, or contact our technical office for a tailored assessment. Where can I find product catalogues and datasheets?

General catalogues and public datasheets are available in the Download Centre. Customers registered in the Reserved Area also have access to dedicated documentation such as user manuals, drawings and specific datasheets. If you can't find the document you need, contact us and we'll send it to you directly.

How do I request a quote?

You can request a quote from the configurator, from each product page via the "Request a quote" button, or from the Contacts page. Specify the model you are interested in and the application details (diameter, material, quantity): our sales office usually replies within one working day.

What are the shipping times and methods?

Accepted Answer

Times depend on stock availability and the requested configuration. We ship within Italy and abroad through the main carriers. Once a shipment is dispatched, Reserved Area customers can follow its status in the "Shipments" section; alternatively, the public "Track shipment" page is available by entering the number and carrier.

Are Maucotools machines covered by warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all machines are covered by warranty according to the terms set out in the sales conditions. We design and build in-house, so we can guarantee support and spare-parts continuity over time. To activate the warranty, keep your proof of purchase; for warranty work, contact our service department.

How do I order spare parts and tooling?

Accepted Answer

Spare parts and consumable tooling (inserts, bars, kits) are ordered by contacting our sales office, stating the machine model and serial number so we can identify the correct part. We are working on a dedicated spare-parts e-commerce; in the meantime the fastest route is direct contact or a request from the Reserved Area.

Do you offer training on how to use the machines?
